 A Special Thank You We would like to thank all of those who help make the Pekin Insurance Holiday Tournament a success. From the tournament committee, to the host coaches, all the other volunteers and to Pekin Community High School, we say thank you for your help. It was our pleasure to conduct the 2011 Pekin Insurance Holiday Tournament in Pekin, Illinois. Although the athletes were members of opposing teams, they were friendly rivals. Their participation in the tournament reflected the essence of interscholastic athletics: to play hard and fair. The fans and spectators demonstrated good sportsmanship and cooperation that will ensure continued success in the years ahead.
