Washington Panthers 52, #2 Mt. Carmel Caravan 72

The Caravan jumped out to a 7-0 lead which started with Frezza's 3 pointer.  Washington's first score came at the 5:00 mark when Sharp hit a short jumper. Washington had its own 7-0 run and made the score 7 all at the 3:40 mark. At the 1:10 mark, Mt. Carmel's Abrams hit a 3 pointer to take the lead 11-9.  With 1 minute left on the clock, Grebner tied the game at 11.  Gac put the last basket of the quarter in, where it ended 13-11, Mt. Carmel.

Washington went straight into the bonus where Grebner hit both his free throws to tie the game, 13-13 at the 7:41 mark. The Panthers took the lead with a Izaguirre 3 pointer at the 6:47 mark. The Caravan got it back to 1 point before Roth drained a 3 pointer at the 5:31 mark, 19-15 Washington. The Caravan's Filer took over the floor scoring 11 of their next 14 points. Mt. Carmel out scored the Panthers 14-3 for the next 4:30 seconds, 29-22 with 23 second left in the half. The Panthers' Izaguirre hit a 3 point buzzer beater to close the half, 29-25.

Peters closed the gap to 2 points at the 6:53 mark, 29-27 Mt. Carmel.  Filer continued his productive ways in the 3rd quarter by dropping two free throws, 31-27. Next to the foul line was Scott of Mt Carmel, where he converted his free throws, 33-27. After another Filer layup, Washington called a timeout at the 5:36 mark, 35-27. After returning from the timeout, the Caravan's Filer and Abrams combined for the next 8 points to make the score 43-27 at the 4:01 mark. After a Caravan timeout, a Gac layup made the score 45-27. With 2:17 into the 3rd quarter, Washington ended its scoring drought with a Rayn layup, 45-29. Gac drove home dunk at the 2:03 mark. Washington exchanged a pair of 3s from Roth and Izaguirre for two baskets from Mt. Carmel, 51-35 with 35 second left in the 3rd. The quarter ended with a field goal, Mt. Carmel, 53-35.

Gac slammed home his second dunk at the 7:14 mark. Abrams followed up with a short jumper, 57-35. The score 61-44 when Abrams leap his way into a rim crashing dunk at the 3:06 mark, 63-44. Washington was able to get any closer then 16 points in the last 3 minutes of the game. The game ended 72-52, Mt. Carmel.
