Neither team scored until Washington scored at the 5:25 mark to take a 2-0 lead. Freeport then countered with a 3 to make it 3-2 Freeport. Washington then scored to make it 4-3. Freeport countered with a bucket to make the score 5-4. Both teams exchanged baskets on three possessions and Washington then took the lead 12-9 at 1:45. Freeport countered with a bucket to make it 12-11 at 1:15. Washington's Roth then hit a 3 to give Washington a 15-11 lead at 41 seconds. Washington then hit the last shot of the quarter to extend their lead to 17-11.

Freeport scored the first basket of the quarter at the 6:45 mark to close the lead to 17-13. Freeport then got the next bucket to make it 17-15 at 6:28. Washington's Izaguirre hit a 3 to give Washington a 22-15 lead at the 5:25 mark. Washington's Roth hit a 3 to give Washington a 27-19 lead at 4:20. Washington's Roth hit another 3 to give Washington a 32-19 lead at 2:45. Freeport answered with a 3 to make it 32-22 at 2:23. Washington held onto the lead and was up 36-24 at the half.

Washington opened the third quarter with three point shots by Roth and Izaguiree to take a 42-24 lead. Both teams exchanged baskets and Washington lead 44-26 at the 4:00 mark. Washington lead 49-29 at the 2:30 mark. Washington extended their lead to 54-33 at the end of the quarter.

Washington extended the lead to 64-36 at the 4:48 mark. Washington's Roth left the game at the 2:53 mark with 26 points. Freeport's Austin Davis left the game with 18 points. Washington lead the game 66-40 at 1:59. Washington won the game by the same score 66-40.
