Freeport Pretzels 74, Lanphier Lions 64

Lanphier's Clemons converted a conventional 3 point play to gain the lead 7-5 by the 4:33 mark. Freeport's Davis tied the game at 7s thirteen seconds later. The Loins ran off the next 6 points to lead 13-7 at the 2:40 mark. Freeport picked up the next 4 points to get within 2 at the 1:42 mark. Baskets were exchange to the end of the quarter, where it ended 17-15 Lanphier.

By the 7:12 mark, the Lions added to their lead 21-15. The Pretzels' Hoefer and Norman combined for a pair of 3 pointers to tie the game at 21 by the 5:13 mark. Lanphier's Clemons regained the lead for the Lions at the 4:45 mark, 23-21. Carroll fired a 3 pointer from the right side of the court to give the Pretzels the lead for the first time since the early minutes of the game, 24-23 at the 4:44 mark. Baskets were exchanged before Coach Shanklin called a timeout for the Lions, 26-25 at the 4:07 mark. Over the course of the next 2 minutes there were 5 lead changes, before Coach Lawfer called a timeout at the 2:00 mark, 31-30 Lanphier. Freeport's Josh Lewis completed a conventional 3 point play to regain the lead, 33-31 at the 1:00 mark. With 2 seconds left on the clock Clemons drove to the basket and tied the game at 33 to end the half. 

Freeport's Norman opened the second half to give the Pretzels the lead 35-33 at the 7:40 mark. By the 6:46 Briggity of the Lions and Davis of the Pretzels exchanged 3 pointers, 38-36 Freeport. The Lions tied the game at the 6:30 with a Murdock layup at 38. By the 5:12 mark both teams exchanged baskets and had seen the foul line once, 44-39 the Lions. The Pretzels ran off 10 unanswered points before the Loins called a timeout at the 3:25 mark, 49-44 Freeport. The Pretzels managed to maintain its lead to close the 3rd quarter, 55-50.

By a 1:30 into the 4th quarter the Lions were within 4 points, 58-54. Over course of 1:20 Freeport's Lewis went to the line three time converting 3 of 5 free throws and added a layup to extend their lead to 63-56 by the 5:11 mark. Lanphier called a timeout at the 2:44 mark, with the score 66-58, Pretzels. The Lions returned from the timeout with the full court press on. The Lions were unsuccessful in their attempt to close the gap and Freeport went on to win the game 74-64.
