#3 Moline Maroon 34, Normal West Wildcats 49

The Championship Consolation game started off with a 3 pointer from Normal West's Bell at the 7:20 mark. By the 6:12 mark the Wildcats' Hallstein completed a 3 point play to make the score 6-2 Wildcats. The Wildcats' biggest lead came at the 4:46 mark, 12-7. The Maroons got within 2 points by the 2:45 mark. Baskets were exchanged, with the Wildcats never giving up the lead. The 1st quarter ended 16-14, Wildcats.

The Maroons opened the 2nd quarter with a 3 pointer by Lindauer and their first lead of the game, 17-16. The Wildcats were quick to answer with a Hallstein basket, regaining the lead, 18-17. The clock rolled down to the 3:52 when Coach Cupples called a timeout for the Wildcats. After returning to the floor, the Maroons scored the next 4 points, taking the lead 21-18. Baskets were exchanged for the remainder of the half with Maroons retained the lead, 25-24.

Moline struck first with a Wismer layup, 27-25 at the 7:17 mark. Bell brought the Wildcats within one at the 6:01 mark. He followed that up with a break-away to give the Wildcats the lead at the 5:27 mark, 28-27. After alternating baskets the Wildcats were still in the lead at the 4:50, 31-30. Stewart added 2 more points to the lead from the foul line at the 4:05 mark, 33-30. Normal West's Durham was sent to the line where he made the backend of two, 34-30 at the 2:59 mark. Hallstein gave the Wildcats their biggest lead of the game by hitting a 3 pointer at the 2:01 mark, 37-30. Bell added a 2 in the last seconds of 3rd quarter to make it 39-30. 

It took 1:19 before Hallstein added to the Wildcats lead with 2 more points from the foul line, 41-30. Bell added 2 more on a break-away at 5:05 mark, which was followed with yet another break-away by Stewart, 45-30 at the 4:40 mark. Moline's Coach Webber called a timeout. Normal West had added 4 more points to its lead, while Moline was still scoreless in the 4th, the Wildcats called a timeout at the 2:47, 49-30. Substitutions were made by both teams. The game ended 49-34, Normal West.
