Neither team scored until Morton scored first at 5:10. Pekin answered with a bucket by Tom Lohmann to tie the game. Morton's Lundeen then converted to make it 4-2 Morton at 4:20. Pekin's McLouth tied the game at 2:59 4-4. Morton's Bisping hit a three at 2:18 to make it 7-4. Morton's Bisping was fouled at 1:26 and made the back end of two free throws to make it 8-4. Pekin's Trey Scotti hit a three to cut the Morton lead to 8-7. Morton's Waibel hit a bucket to make it 10-7. The quarter ended with a 10-7 Morton lead.

The first basket of the quarter came from Pekin's King at the 5:35 mark to make it a 10-9 Morton lead. Morton's Voeller went to the line at 5:19 and made both free throws to make it 12-9. Pekin's Lohmann then hit a bucket in the paint to make it 12-11. Morton's Waibel hit a bucket at 4:29 to make it 14-11. Waibel hit another bucket in the lane to make it 16-11. Morton's Lundeen hit a three at 3:09 to make it 19-11. Pekin's King hit a bucket at 2:14 to make it 19-13. At the 1:26 mark Morton's Waibel went to the line and made one of two to make it 20-13. Morton's Kumpf hit a three at 1:04 to make it a 23-13 Morton lead. Neither team scored in the last one minute and the half ended with a 23-13 Morton lead.

Pekin's McLouth hit the first bucket of the third quarter to cut the lead to 23-15. Pekin's King then was fouled and converted a three point play to make it 23-18. Morton's Voeller hit a shot in the paint to make it 25-18. Morton's Waibel hit a bucket at 4:46 to make it 27-18. Morton's Voeller hit a bucket and a free throw to complete a three point play to give Morton a 30-18 lead. Morton scored again at 2:25 when Lundeen hit a layup and was fouled and converted the free throw to make it 33-18. The foul was by Pekin's Lohmann which was hit fourth. At 2:10 Pekin's Barnes was fouled and made both free throws. Morton responded with a bucket to keep the lead at 15 35-20. Morton's Waibel converted a basket to make it 37-20. Morton's Anderson hit a three at the buzzer to end the quarter with a 40-20 Morton lead.

Morton scored the first basket of the fourth quarter at 6:18 to make it 42-20. Pekin's King hit a three at 4:30 to make it 42-23. Pekin's Colton Mason hit a three at 3:57 to make the score 44-26. Morton went ahead 46-26 at the 2:26 mark as both teams emptied their benches. Morton went on to win 51-30. Pekin finished fourth place and Morton finished third place in the 45th Annual Pekin Insurance Holiday Tournament.
