#3 Moline Maroon 39, Freeport Pretzels 43

After four turnovers Moline struck first with a 3 pointer form Lindauer at the 6:15 mark. Moline's half court zone press kept Freeport scoreless until Luke Norman drained a 3 pointer at the 4:21 mark to tie the score 3-3. Lindauer hit another 3 pointer to regain the lead 6-3 at 4:04 mark. Five more points were added to the Maroons' lead, which included yet another 3 pointer from Giovanine, 11-3 at the 2:10 mark. The Pretzels added another three by Carroll at the 1:50 mark, 11-6. The last points of the quarter came from the Maroons' Giovanine ending the quarter 14-6, Moline.

Baskets were exchanged in the first two opening minutes of the 2nd quarter to make the score 16-8. Freeport added 2 points before sending Moline's Wismer to the foul line, where he sank both free throws, 18-10 at the 4:45 mark. Moline's Giovanine hit his third 3 pointer and a breakaway turnover to add five points to their lead, 23-10 at the 4:04 mark. The Pretzels added two layups to make it 23-14 at the 2:29 mark. Baskets were exchanged to close the half 25-16, Moline.

Freeport's Carroll took the 2nd half's opening possession and a back to back 3 pointer to make the score 25-22 at the 7:14 mark. Davis jammed home a dunk at the 6:43 to get within one point, 25-24. After eight unanswered points, Moline called a timeout. The score stayed unchanged for the next 2:48 when Freeport took the lead with a Hoefer field goal 26-25. Davis added another point at the free throw line to make the score 27-25, at the 3:41 mark. After 15 unanswered points (starting from the 2nd quarter) Moline took a timeout at the 2:35 mark, 29-25 Freeport. The game went scoreless for the next 2:13 before Moline was sent to the foul line, where Lewis made the back end of two free throws (Lewis subbed in for Wismer, injury), ending Moline's scoring drought, 29-26 at the :22 mark. Freeport's Norman added a 3 pointer, while Moline's Krantz added a field goal, ending the 3rd quarter 32-27 Freeport.

After a scoreless first minute the Pretzels' Carroll increased the lead to 34-27 at the 6:56 mark. The Maroons' Lindauer hit his 3rd 3 pointer to make the score 34-30 at the 6:33 mark. Moline called a timeout at the 5:00 mark. Carroll of the Pretzels converted a 3 point play to make the score 37-30 at 4:26 mark. Moline answered with its own 3 point play by Krantz, 37-33 at the 4:07 mark. After drawing the foul, Freeport's Davis was unable to complete the three point play, make the score 39-33 at the 3:30 mark. Freeport called a timeout with 2:31 left in the game, and was followed by another Freeport timeout at the 2:23 mark. Freeport burned up clock time and Freeport went to the line twice, adding 2 more points, 41-33 at the :46 mark. Moline's Lindauer hit his 4th 3 pointer at the :31 mark to make the score 41-36. Freeport missed the front end of a one and one at the :30 mark. Moline's Lewis hit a 3 pointer at the :18 mark, 41-39. Moline called a timeout. Freeport's Lewis went back to the line, where he made the front end of the one-and-one, 42-29. Freeport was back at the line with :02 left, where Norman hit the front end of a double bonus, to make the score 43-39. Game over!
